Refugee Kits
Hearts Knit Together is proud to provide kits of love for the refugees coming through the Work Force Center in Utah. There are more than 20 million refugees in the world today. Only 50,000 to 75,000 per year are allowed in the United States and around 1100 are sent to Utah. Most refugees can spend years waiting in refugee camps for resettlement in other areas around the world. These people have suffered so much and we have the opportunity to make them feel welcome here in Utah. Your help in putting together kits that we can give to the refugees will mean so much. Thank you for your willingness to serve. If you have any questions, please contact us at refugees@heartsknittogether.org
This list provides you with suggestions for a successful Day of Service putting together Refugee Kits.
